Bathtime Fun With Kit & Kin

Kit & Kin baby products

Have you heard about Kit & Kin yet?

My kids love their bath time. I first came across Kit & Kin when a few month ago we tested their biodegradable nappy range. (Spoiler alert: we loved them. Great nappies and one of the few biodegradable brands currently available.) Kit & Kin has a range of safe, eco-friendly and affordable baby products, these are hypoallergenic, cruelty free and approved by dermatologists. The multi-award winning brand is the brain child of Emma Bunton (for those, who do not live on this planet: she’s one of the Spice Girls). Emma’s son suffers from eczema so she knows from first hand, that this skin condition requires extra attention and skincare products, which aren’t full of chemicals that would further irritate the skin.

So this time, we were testing out their skincare range, developed especially for babies and young children with very sensitive skin.

Both my children has sensitive skin, Bobcat still gets mild eczema flare ups in the winter. We mostly managed to clear his eczema, but these flare ups are back every winter with a rash at the back of his leg, and his back. So for us, using natural bath products is essential.

What did we think about Kit & Kin’s bath time range?

Kit & Kin’s Baby Bundle seemed working very well, for Bobcat’s skin condition too. They loved that the bubble bath gives proper bubbles and the hair and body wash did not irritate their eyes when washing their hair. They wriggle a lot as they don’t really like their hair being washed, so they always end up with the shampoo going into their eyes. And their hair smells so good after that – that’s a bonus for mummy! The magic salve is useful for mild nappy rash as well as treating dry spots – we used it for the latter. It works both as a soothing moisturiser and as a barrier cream (for the back of his leg for instance).

I thought the price of the bundle and the individual products are perfectly in line with other similar products.

The complete Baby Bundle includes:

* calming baby oil

* cleansing hair and body wash

* hydrating bubble bath

* soothing and enriching magic salve

Kit & Kin bath products

The highlights:

* Approved by dermatologists and certified natural by the soil association, no harsh chemicals, parabens or synthetic fragrances. They are not tested on animals.

* Great as a starter kit (the products are suitable for infants) or indeed a baby shower gift for a mum-to-be.

* Kit & Kin is an ethical company: For every pack sold, they help fund the purchase of rainforest through the World Land Trust.

I received these products in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. Bath time has been really good fun with Kit & Kin.

My little E gets eczema too, so we have to be very careful what we use on her. These look great!

I’d love to try out Kit & Kin, I love what Emma Bunton has done with the brand and have heard so many good things about them. Fab post, I had no idea they did skincare products too.
