Well, we are slowly entering the Christmas season – there’s only a few days left of November and we will be officially in December and getting ready and excited for Christmas.
This year was like no other before. I do hope that all my lovely readers kept well and safe and will continue to do so until we finally manage to get back to normality. I’m sure this pandemic has taught everyone a lesson – even if it’s a different one for each of us, I’m positive that we have learned something.
For me personally it was that I am capable of more than I thought before: the lockdown in the spring was hard with our whole family stuck at home, no friends to see, no travels, try to home school two little kids whilst working from home. Don’t get me wrong: I’m most grateful that we have lost no relatives, friends, or jobs to the virus. That our family unit grew stronger.
Another important thing is just like I wrote in this post a few month back. I’m pretty sure I am now speaking for others too, I find nothing cheerful about the virus and this is not how things supposed to be at all. The lockdown will not solve any problems related to climate change. There is nothing to “celebrate”. But the Covid-19 crisis may provided an opportunity for change. And some things happened which I called silver linings. I’m positive that people’s minds changed too and that’s the most important step towards a greener future.
Anyway, enough of the waffle, let’s celebrate Christmas! I hope you all will have the Christmas you were hoping for. This Christmas giveaway (and another one here) is my way of saying thank you for reading my blog this year and I’m very grateful to have you around.
