You know, I really struggle with buying Christmas presents for my husband’s family. My sister-in-law, my brother-in-law and of course my darling mother-in-law. I don’t know their taste so well that I’d ever attempt to buy them a perfume or some accessories. It’s really hard! Browsing books for hours, only to decide that they are surely going to get something bigger for me, so a book won’t be enough. And what if they won’t like it? Then looking for theatre or concert tickets for them. But will they be available on that day? Do they like that band at all? Back to square one.
You know what’s an evergreen and a totally cultured Christmas present? A hamper. That’s right. Filled with delicacies for real foodies. I used to pick the items myself for Christmas hampers, but I don’t do it anymore, just buy a ready made hamper.
Last week, I had a special delivery from Prestige Hampers: a beautiful, big Christmas hamper. I absolutely love this wooden box, the box can be useful for storing other things and you don’t even have to hide it as it’s so pretty.
The colours are coordinated, and the selection of cool blue, turquoise, wintery white and chocolate brown makes the hamper look luxurious and different from the regular red and gold Christmas colours. I really like this idea.
Testing the products, I came to the conclusion that this hamper is perfect for foodies.
I picked a favourite items from the hamper which I really liked.
Some lovely, unusual delicacy was the goats cheese flavoured popcorn – amazing, I never tried something like this before. The coconut biscuits were another favourite: I just love everything with coconut! Lemon shortbread: very nice not too harsh, just a subtle lemon flavour. The chocolate bonbons were also gorgeous. As I’m a big coffee fan, I was happy to see a Christmas coffee in the hamper, apart from the all time favourite English tea.
I filmed a little unboxing video for you, to see how big is the box and the items in the reality:

These looks like a really awesome hamper, such quality products! I’d be very happy if Santa left this under my tree this year 🙂
