I was gifted with this hamper by Hamper.com
Everyone loves a good hamper for Christmas. Hampers are a great way of gifting as it’s a little bit like buying an experience for someone but still an actual gift, and a fabulous looking one! It’s an experience, because you normally put special and exquisite goodies together to make it a hamper and enjoying them with your loved ones is a festive experience. Christmas is always a special time and a festive Christmas hamper can make it even more special.
My kind of hampers are definitely the cheese and wine hampers – being a big cheese lover. Hamper.com kindly sent me one of their Classic Cheese and Wine Collection hampers to try out, so I think my blogging Christmas just been made! This gorgeous hamper was packaged fully recyclable card board and wooden shred – which is an important point for me. No plastic padding mountains!
What’s in the hamper?
A fine Merlot red wine and sparkling Prosecco, beautifully complemented by delectable cheese together with a selection of savoury nibbles and indulgent chocolate truffles, English afternoon tea, olives, jalapeño jam packed in an open wicker gift basket.
My favourites were:
The cheese, which was a mature cheddar with garlic and herbs from the Snowdonia Cheese Company.
The Punchy Jalapeño Mini Wafers from Thomas. J. Fudge’s Bakery – these were perfect with the cheese, such a great flavour combination!
The Prosecco, obviously – love a little bit of fizz!
The Simply Cornish short bread (with chunky chocolate and clotted cream).
And the Charles Butler’s famous chocolate limes – these are my old time classic English sweets!
I also made a detailed little unboxing video for you to see all the goodies:
