GreenBook – Erasable Notebook Review

I was just looking for a new notebook or weekly planner for myself as I realised that I have to keep lists to get everything done I wanted. I don’t really need a diary because things often get delayed or postponed around here… I never been a person who kept to-do lists, I remembered for appointments and special dates with no problem. But this has changed. Nowadays, I carry such a mental load that is getting too challenging. Mainly because of blogging, I have now quite a lot to keep in my mind and my head can’t keep up. I blame it on the sleep deprivation, but that’s not going to change the fact: I need to write lists.

Saying no to bleached white paper

So, I looked up some weekly planners and notebooks, but there are not many eco-friendly options are available. If it’s possible, I always try to avoid buying bleached white paper. Let alone all the glittery stationary what’s so fashionable and disposable lately. No, thank you. I normally prefer to buy recycled paper.

What is GreenBook?

But there is an even better option! The reusable and erasable notebook. Greenstory kindly sent me one of their GreenBooks. I picked the FAWAKA limited edition green book. These planners are whiteboard notebooks which last for years. It’s got erasable pages and they come a black pen, erase cloth and cleaning spray. It is a very simple yet brilliant idea, that you can wipe the used page and reuse it over and over again. The green books come in different sizes and with different covers – I also liked the durable felt cover option. You can either buy a book or build your own by adding the required pages. There are extra pages for weekly, monthly and yearly planners; to-do lists, habit trackers or even nutrition planners.

I picked the FAWAKA special edition book purely because the sale of this product helps to support primary school projects about entrepreneurship and sustainability. I didn’t add any extra pages because I wasn’t sure how well this really work. But now I really want some of the planner pages because the design works very well.
