For a family after buying a house, and the children’s education, purchasing a car is probably one of the biggest acquisitions.
More and more families are choosing cars that are also environmentally friendly and luckily more and more makers are manufacturing electric and hybrid cars. Green vehicles include hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, battery electric vehicles, and some others, but these are the widely available green technologies.
Cars are the main cause of air pollution in towns and cities, the emission of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbons are now threatening the health of the urban population. Especially in winter time where it’s cold and muggy, smog alerts are quite common.
With the infrastructure being built quite fast, battery prices are coming down and rapidly improving technology, it is now becoming more competitive price wise too. And don’t forget about the charging cables, it’s good to have at leat one and keep it in your car (it is also advised by the manufacturers). You can simply order them online. EV Cable Shop supply a wide range of EV (Electric Vehicle) charging products for use with residential and commercial charging stations.
Even used green cars are available these days. A good place to start is definitely https://webuytotaledcars.com/ where you can find both new and used cars and they have a huge range of green cars too. If you’re not sure what are you looking for, it gives you a lot of information about the different models, all the small details you need to know. You can also read reviews and watch videos. It’s a one stop source to find out everything about the model you’re after and purchasing it.

I love the idea of having an electric car. I used to drive a hybrid and it was great being able to switch it over to electric every so often.
This is such a great article. Very insightful! It is so important nowadays to be conscious of the impact our choices have on the environment. Luckily I don’t need a car living in NYC, but when the time comes to buy one, I will definitely keep these ideas in mind.
