This winter has been bad: I was ill for about 7-8 weeks with flu and ended up at the A&E with chest pain, x-ray and antibiotics twice. I wasn’t looking after myself properly and in December I did work a lot – like a lot of other people, just before Christmas.

I used my recent favourite smoothie recipe for this:

  • 2 tablespoon of dairy-free yogurt (or any dairy yogurt you like)
  • 100 ml oat milk
  • 3-4 larger leaves of spinach
  • a few pieces of blueberries
  • a teaspoon of chia seeds
  • water or crushed ice, depending how thick or thin you like it
