When I buy clothes for my kids, I usually love picking bright and fun designs. It’s good if they last so I can pass them on to a friend. Apart from that, it’s important that they are kind to the skin (they both have very sensitive skin), so I only buy 100% cotton items and whenever possible: kind to the environment too.
We were kindly sent some lovely little things by Me & I and we got to pick our favourites from their page. So my little tennis fan picked a cool little t-shirt with an alligator on it – wait for it…. playing tennis! And I picked a cute little dress with parrot pattern for Babi. They are absolutely gorgeous.
Me & I is a Swedish clothing company and they make bright and fun designs for babies, children and adults too. A lot of their baby and children outfits are unisex, or the same material is used for a little girl’s dress and for a boy’s t-shirt for example. Which I find fantastic.
What makes them special and outstanding for me, is that their products are quality certified to the OEKO-TEX standard. (To receive the OEKO-TEX certification, one must ensure that the manufacturing process is eco-friendly and that the clothing items can be disposed in an environmentally friendly manner.) Also, all their baby clothes are made of 100% organic cotton. They are produced ethically in Portugal and Turkey.
Our opinion:
- The colours are just as bright in the reality as on the photos.
- We’ve found, that the material super soft and the clothes are not loosing their colour after several washes.
- They are perfect fit for their size (Babi wears a dress size 12-18 months and Bobcat wears a tee size 3-4 years).
One more important thing. You know me, I love working with brands with ethics which are clear and bold. Me & I financially supports The Step, an orphan girls’ home in Nepal as well as donates clothes for them.
Disclaimer: I was sent these clothes for review. This hasn’t influenced my opinion, I genuinely loved them.

wow I really like the clothing and was totally going to buy my baby girl a few items but HOLY MOLY EXPENSIVE! I definitely cannot afford to pay almost 35$ (CAD) for a shirt that may fit her for MAYBE 6 months. just saying.
I love the bold prints they look great
I love eco friendly clothes and bright funky patterns myself, I love the bird dress here. Great to hear about companies i would not have otherwise come across, thanks.
I haven’t come across this brand before but I will definitely be checking them out, I adore bright coloured clothing for kids and the fact that they are soft on skin and support a good cause is just fantastic. Thank you for sharing!
This is a great post, I have never heard of eco friendly clothing before, which is probably crazy! But I’m going to look into this seller, the patterns and colours are fab!
That dress is absolutely beautiful – I love it!

Yes, definitely similar to those.
This company sounds so wonderful and your little ones looks super cute in them! Your little girl’s eyes are just so gorgeous too, a wee stunner!
What lovely clothing, and the ethos behind the brand is just so wonderful. The feel-good factor of helping others when you make a purchase is lovely too, I don’t think it gets much better. I wonder what size they go up to 🙂
I keep wondering the same Rachel, sometimes I wish kid’s clothes would come in adults’ sizes!
Me & I sounds like a truly wonderful company! Their clothes are clearly adorable, and your kids look so cute sporting their outfits. My son would love the alligator shirt!
They look so cute! Eco-friendly doesn’t have to be ugly or boring. These outfits are perfect examples how you can combine sustainability with fashion 🙂
Exactly! Bright colours are the winner!
