I received and tested these products in exchange for my honest review.
One of my favourite thing about my blog is that I have this massive opportunity to make a difference. I use my blog to spread the word and make people aware of green and ethical issues. I find, that the best way is to do this by introducing other options, that are positive choices for people and planet. We don’t have to accept and buy the goods big labels and glossy adverts are trying to sell us. Money is a vote which you can use every time you go shopping. By using your spending power wisely you can help to create a better, healthier and greener world.
With that in mind, the idea to create a new monthly review series called “My Ethical And Green Picks Of The Month” was born. The posts are to introduce all the small shops and indie brands who produces and sells ethically produced, eco-friendly, organic, natural, cruelty – free and fairly traded goods, that are alternatives to everyday items such as fast fashion, processed food, cosmetics and cleaners containing toxins and harmful chemicals. My aim is to inspire you to choose positive buying. To reverse reducing the power of local communities, to stop overconsumption, abusing animals and wasting our natural resources.

Gifts for nature lovers
Boxwild makes wildlife gift boxes, subscription boxes and gifts for bird lovers packed with my recipes to encourage wildlife into people’s gardens. Boxwild sends a donation to wildlife charities with every gift box sold. I received a Bird House Feeder with Personalised Bird Seed (that are produced ethically and blended in Boxwild’s kitchen in Surrey).
Ethical fine jewellery
These very elegant, delicate and contemporary looking rings are made by Nikki Stark Jewellery, who’s jewellery designer based in South West London and has been creating elegant, wearable and ethical pieces for 12 years. She makes fine jewellery with gold and silver, and whenever possible she uses eco (100% recycled) precious metal. Using recycled material rather than newly mined gold and silver is more environmentally friendly. (She’s also registered as a fair trade goldsmith, so the newly mined gold she uses is fair trade gold following fair practices.)
Eco friendly and ethical well being products
Snooty Catz is an contemporary health and gift boutique for humans & pets – I have received some goodies from them (for humans). Snooty Cats stocks brands at great prices and they are passionate about the environment and this reflects in their ever growing range of cruelty-free, plastic free, natural, vegan, made in Britain and fair trade products. They recycle all packaging materials from our suppliers and only buy biodegradable packaging. Big thumbs up!

Wow I didn’t know there was such a thing as a fair trade goldsmith. You normally hear fair trade related to food. That’s a really good idea!
