Olverum Bath Oil Review

Well, this was a looooong winter in London. With the Beast from the East just a few weeks ago the children contracted yet another cold, then some days later it was husband’s turn and currently it’s mine. I can safely say I have had more colds and flus in the last 3-4 years (since I have children, basically) then during the 35 years before.

I normally don’t take any over the counter medication (stay away from me with your smelly Strepsils!) only some paracetamol for pain, drink my good old lemon-tea-honey combo, use eucalyptus essential oil, early bed (when I manage) and have a hot bath (when I have no temperature). These normally work for me and a simple cold doesn’t require more than that.

But now I have a new joiner to fight the flu: Olverum has kindly sent me some of their iconic bath oils. As you might know, I love essential oils. Olverum has a special blend of lavender, lemon, eucalyptus, rosemary, juniper, geranium, lime, verbena and Siberian for needle extract. They help to clear the sinuses, ease breathing and muscle pain.

What I thought about it:

After a 20-30 minutes warm bath I felt – I’m not exaggerating now! – so relaxed and rejuvenated like with no other bath product before. Truly amazing! It really helped clearing my cold and I felt just like after a spa experience. It works just wonders in the evening, after a long day. I’m a complete Olverum believer now and I can see why other people swear on it. Someone told me, that they have used it for decades in their family – I can see why.

What I really liked about it:
