When it comes to watches I prefer a minimalist yet unique design combined with quality – that is hard to find. I don’t really fall for trends, I tend to wear all my jewellery and watches until the moment they last, which is hopefully a very long time. And of course it has to be ethically made too.
I came across Nordgreen a while ago and they kindly sent me this gorgeous time piece. Have you heard about Nordgreen Ethical Design Watches?

How is it that Scandinavian designers are just simply mastered a perfect design and look of a minimalist style that just feels so satisfying to look at, beautiful items that are just perfect and enough? No wonder that Danish designs are world famous and they have been for a few decades, since minimalism really took off in the 60’s. But these watches are not oversimplified, they are timelessly simple yet beautiful. They are like a perfectly composed piece of music: every single note has it’s place and work together beautifully.
Their story begins in 2017, with Nordgreen’s partners Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt building a brand that is actionable toward sustainable practices while creating an aesthetically pleasing, and functional collection of designer timepieces. Nordgreen envisioned its collection with award-winning Chief Designer Jakob Wagner, who earned his acclaim by designing for Bang & Olufsen and many more.
Nordgreen has a minimalist, timeless collection of watches. They are designed for all gender, age and generation – regardless of trends. These main designs come in different sizes and colours in dial plus with interchangeable straps. So, there are a lot of combinations available but in the end choosing your watch is super simple and stress-free. This was my favourite thing about it. I chose my favourite design, picked the colour and the strap. No overwhelming number of complicated options. It’s like even the decision making process of buying a watch has became minimalistic. Great concept.
Native collection
I received this watch from the Native collection in rose gold with white dial (36mm). This is a simple, sophisticated design and subtle detailing of this model result in truly timeless timepieces that will never go out of style. I like the rose gold colour makes, it makes the watch super elegant but not too flashy.
