Safe + Fair

Safe + Fair is a vegan snack line made with clean ingredients. They produce a range of chips, popcorn, and granola using only the good stuff. Healthy eating is often associated with compromise, but Safe + Fair’s addictive snacks turn this notion on its head with flavors like Birthday Cake, Key-lime Pie, and Cookie Dough.

What’s more, food safety is a crucial part of their brand mission. Alongside being guilt-free Safe + Fair puts their products through rigorously strict food allergy testing procedures to ensure they are Top 9 Allergen Free. It’s also worth noting that 3% of proceeds go towards the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University.

The full range includes:

  • Granola
  • Drizzled Popcorn
  • Seasoned Popcorn
  • Chips
  • Mixes
  • Kid’s Protein

If you want to try Safe + Fair’s guilt-free snacks, you can order products from their official website (free shipping for orders over $40!) or in selected stores, which include:

  • Costco
  • Target
  • HyVee
  • Kroger
  • Walmart

Overall, Safe + Fair is a fantastic choice for those who want to eat the good stuff while enjoying flavors that would usually be considered “naughty”.

Just Water

Just Water is the brainchild of actor Jaden Smith. While learning to surf, a 10-year-old Jaden’s eyes were opened when he found a plastic bottle floating next to him. That image stayed with him since, and in 2015 Just Water was born.

Just Water uses 100% mountain-sourced spring water in all its products, meaning naturally alkaline water with high mineral content. They never use water surrounding communities may need, so all their water is sourced sustainably and responsibly.

Recently, the brand also won the global “Best Packaging Solution” at the 2018 Global Bottled Water Congress with its Tetra Pak carton bottles. 88% of the materials used to make their cartons are plant-based. Specifically from renewable sources like trees and sugarcane, which emits around 74% less carbon emissions than their plastic bottle counterparts. They also offer a range of sparkling drinks, which come in bottles made from recycled aluminum.

The company may be called Just Water, but this doesn’t mean they’re averse to tasty, refreshing flavors. Their sparkling water “Bubbles” range includes natural fruity flavors.

These include:

  • Watermelon
  • Coconut Mint
  • Lemon
  • HuckleBlueberry
  • Lime

Their products are available to order online via their official website or Amazon, but be found across stores nationwide, including:

  • Walmart
  • CVS
  • Target
  • Whole Foods

Just Water is a fantastic option for eco-conscious folk who want to do better for their planet and their health.

Hello

Craig Dubitsky founded Hello because he was tired of toothpaste brands filling their tubes with artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. Not to mention the tubes themselves, which were in his words “fugly af”. Craig knew things had to change, and created a line of toothpaste that’s friendlier to people and the environment.

Hello have a strong brand image that will make you smile, and what could be more fitting for a toothpaste brand? Their company mission is to make the world a friendlier place, and they do this by creating sustainably sourced, cruelty-free toothpaste free from parabens and preservatives. The brand is eco-friendly right down to the packaging, which uses recycled paper and soy-based ink.

Hello should have something for everyone. Don’t like mint? They have a “unicorn sparkle” (bubblegum) flavor which truly looks like happiness in a tube. They also offer plastic-free toothpaste tablets, charcoal toothpaste and additional products such as floss.

The range includes:

  • Charcoal toothpaste
  • Fluoride toothpaste
  • Fluoride-free toothpaste
  • Kids toothpaste
  • Toothpaste tablets
  • Floss
  • Mouthwash
  • Toothbrushes

Their products are available to order online via their official website or Amazon. Hello products are also available in selected stores, which include:

  • Target
  • Walmart
  • Whole Foods
  • Dollar General
  • Kroger
  • CVS
  • Shoprite

Hello is a brand that forces us to rethink our oral hygiene habits. A toothpaste brand that only includes natural ingredients is a relatively new concept, and it makes us question what chemicals have we actually been scrubbing our teeth with this whole time? Overall, Hello is a refreshing change from most commercial toothpastes out there.
