Many of us are well-versed in having to pack our bags with various items before we leave the house. While there are some that are a must, such as keys and our phone, there are a few things that you might not have considered. Let’s take a look at the things you should make sure you are taking out and about with you – especially on a long day away from home!
Lint Roller
One thing you should think about carrying with you is a lint roller. These are easy to find and don’t take up a lot of room in your bag. If you have pets at home, you might end up with their hair on you. You can also just pick up dust, hair, and other debris just by walking around. A lint roller is a quick fix to this – in a matter of seconds you might have restored your clothes once more!
Toothbrush
It might seem a little odd to carry a toothbrush around with you at first, but it will soon become second nature to you. Giving your mouth a little refresh after meals or just when you feel like it can work wonders on how we feel as a whole. Plus, if you have invested in teeth straightening options from Straight My Teeth or some other company, you might want to give a little clean after each meal to truly ensure that your mouth is fresh once more.
Your Signature Scent
You can now buy little travel-size spritzers of your favourite perfumes. Buying one of these refillable bottles will allow you to refresh your signature scent whenever you are out and about. A quick spritz of your preferred scent can brighten your day when things feel like they are slowing down. You could even stock up on small tester bottles if you don’t want to use a refillable one.
Make-Up
Obviously, if you do not wear make-up then you can skip this one. However, you should make sure that you have a few things on hand to help you fix your face if needs be. A concealer and a brush is a must, as are any brushes that you might wish to use with them. You should also make sure you have your lipstick of the day with you (or a similar one you can swap it out with), plus a refreshing mist for when your skin begins to look a little tired.
An Umbrella
How guilty are you of stepping outside, looking up, and thinking that you are going to be able to chance it? Rather than turning up to your appointments or at work with damp clothes and a hairstyle gone awry, slip a small collapsible umbrella into your bag. It will be something you never regret having on you!
These are five items you should make sure you have with you to keep yourself feeling fresh and ready on the go. No matter where you end up, you will be glad to have each of these at some point or another!
