With the easing of lockdown many of the main attractions in Blackpool reopened their doors on the 12th of April. However due to the fact that there are still a number of restrictions in place these are limited to attractions that are in an outdoor setting. Attractions currently open include:

  • Blackpool Pleasure Beach
  • Blackpool Zoo
  • Blackpool Model Village
  • North, Central and South Piers (with the exclusion of indoor spaces)
  • Ridgeway Farms

Self-Catering accommodation also reopened as from 12th April although at present the rule of 6 needs to be observed. As predicted, the resort has experienced high numbers of day visitors with people throwing off the lockdown shackles and taking advantage of the cool but sunny weather to enjoy some quality family time.

Bars and restaurants with outdoor drinking and dining space have also been making the most of the good weather. Although many of them have revamped outside spaces to ensure they can be used even in inclement weather. This means that as is Blackpool tradition hail, rain or shine you are guaranteed a great time.
