Plenty of History to Learn About

Those into their history will benefit enormously from taking a trip to Boston. If you visit Boston’s historic North End, you’ll be greeted with an array of iconic historical sites. The most popular of these is the home of American revolutionary Paul Revere. He is most known for his night ride in April 1775, which saw him ride all the way to Lexington to alert Samuel Adams and John Hannock of Britain’s fast approach. Revere lived to be 83 and was buried in the city’s Granary Burying Ground. You can go on many historical tours in Boston that will give you more of an insight into the city.

Walk the Freedom Trail

To really learn about Boston’s history, walking the Freedom Trail is essential. This 2.5-mile path takes you through Boston’s downtown. Throughout the trail, you will see all kinds of historical locations. These range from state houses and cemeteries to churches and schools. There are plenty of impressive monuments too, that are sure to catch your eye and tell the story of the American Revolution that you won’t learn or appreciate anywhere else.

Listen up foodies, Boston is calling you! Those who enjoy seafood have come to the right place. If you’re after some New England Seafood, a trip to the Neptune Oyster is a must. They have a fantastic raw bar that allows you to try an array of delights, including octopus, sea urchins, and oysters. There’s plenty of cooked seafood grub to satisfy your hunger too.
