Gifted item.

A going out for a perfect afternoon tea is something I really miss during these days. I love afternoon teas. So when Piglets Pantry contacted me to try their Vegan Afternoon Tea delivery, I was over the moon – what a treat! And it really was! It arrived well packaged and chilled in the morning. No excess packaging, using mainly paper and carton.

All the cakes and pastries were super fresh and delicious. In the Vegan Afternoon Tea were 4 large slices of cakes (my favourite was the chocolate cake!) 4 vegan sausage rolls, 2 mushroom tarts, vegan scotch eggs with beetroot, 2 scones with vegan whipped butter cream and strawberry jam and Teapigs teas. (RRP £35 which given the amount of goodies delivered, is a very good price!)

Comments

  1. I can never decide (maybe that’s what comes of being Somerset born and bred!) so I do one side cream then jam, and one side jam then cream!

  2. I infuriate my Cornish husband by putting cream first on one half and jam first on the other half.

  3. I tend to put jam on one side & cream on the other then squish it all together! Jam goes on the top bit & cream on the bottom.

  4. Never really put much thought into it, I’ll have it anyway but I think with jam.first looks better

  5. I would always put jam on first. Thanks for the chance to win, it’s lovely to see so much many lovely vegan treats here, I would love to try these with my vegan husband.

  6. It’s got to be the cream first then use a spoon to put a dollop of jam on haha

  7. I usually put jam on first then cream… but honestly I’m not fussy 😜

  8. Jam then cream but really doesn’t matter as long as I can gobble it all up!

  9. I do the cream first and then the jam but I don’t think it makes much difference.

  10. i have two halves open-top with jam spreaded edge to edge nice and thick and a large hill of cream on top of both.
