House of Margaux is a small independent baby and children’s fashion brand designed and ethically produced in the UK. Every item of clothing within their collections is hand cut, hand sewn and delivered from Cornwall, UK. Cassie, owner and designer set up the small business during the first lock down after being furloughed.

The garments are made of organic cotton and bamboo, printed with eco-friendly pigment inks
Organic cotton is one of the best of clothing material. Organic is the only system which eliminates highly toxic substances from the environment and instead works holistically, for the long-term benefit of people and the planet as opposed to the conventional cotton production, which relies on synthetic chemical inputs like nitrogen fertilisers and artificial pesticides. These contribute to climate change and can cause damage to local ecosystems and the health of local people. Organic fabrics helps to combat climate change, its production saves water (and helps to keep it clean), helps farmers to make living.
Bamboo is also one of the most sustainable material on Earth:
- It grows rapidly and cheaply, for a bamboo plant to reach harvesting age takes only 3-5 years
- It very resilient, it can grow in a wide range of environments
- Doesn’t require pesticides or chemical fertilisers to grow
- It requires no irrigation and rarely need it to be replanted
- It releases over 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere compared to an equivalent mass of trees or other plants
- It can grow in poor soil and a great soil erosion inhibitor
- The production into fibres has lower environmental impact than other forms of fibre

The competition closes at 12:00 AM on 23rd of August 2022 and the winner will be notified via email within 48 hours.
The giveaway is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over.
There is no maximum amount of times an individual can enter, and each entry will be in with a chance of winning.
ONE person will be picked at random as a winner and the prize provider will send the prize directly to the winner as soon as is reasonably possible. (It is the winner’s responsibility to reply with their full name and address in order to receive their prize).
The winner will have 5 days to respond to their winner’s email. Otherwise we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
