Advertorial post.
I’m a big coffee fan and I have a cute little French press just for myself. Sitting down with a good and hot cup of coffee and do nothing but just enjoy the flavours and the aroma has become a daily afternoon recharge for me: 10 minutes to sit down and just be in the moment and refresh.
But I can only sit back and enjoy my coffee if I know that it’s produced on a sustainable and ethical way. Unethical and unsustainable practises throughout the whole production of coffee is a big, global problem. Reduced biodiversity and farmers living in poverty are just some of the issues involved.
Luckily, there is ethical and sustainable coffee to be found, like RAVE Coffee. They pay fair prices to the farmers, so they can make decent living on their coffee beans as well as being able to produce the highest quality speciality coffee cherries. RAVE roasts a range of blends, single estate, decaffeinated and organic beans and you can sort them below by your preferred brewing method when shopping in their online shop. They also offer subscriptions and raw green coffee for those interested in roasting at home. (Which I’d love to do one day!)
I’ve tried the Italian blend so far, and I must say – it’s like a proper Italian espresso: strong, flavoursome and bold. I love everything everything the packaging too, no plastic was involved shipping the coffee out for me. Price-wise, I think it’s very affordable, especially for the quality you get for your money.
Another great thing RAVE has in their online shop is Nespresso compatible and compostable eco-friendly pods, that are made with 100% compostable materials. So you don’t have to buy the regular coffee pods anymore, that are impossible to recycle.
And you can win a selection of 3 bags, coarse grind coffee, just enter below:

I can drink almost anything so long as it’s strong. In summer, it’s hard to resist an iced coffee with an extra shot plus whipped cream and chocolate on top.
